"In 1993 I tore my ACL in my left knee. I had it repaired and have been active over the past 30 years. In the last 4-5 years my knee began to swell after hiking or hard physical labor. I knew that if I wanted to avoid a total knee replacement in the near future, Dr.Lee was my best option. I drove from New Orleans to Huntsville. He did an extremely thorough evaluation of my knee. He also assessed my right hand as I complained of terrible arthritis there as well. In 2016 I actually underwent a joint replacement surgery on the left hand for the same pain. It was an intense operation and the recovery was long and painful requiring physical therapy for months afterwards. I did not want to go through that again. Way back in 2001, I had a horrible injury to my left knee, 12 weeks in a cast, months of painful physical therapy, and a year later, an orthopedic clean-up surgery.
